Jolly'S Kafe @ Chaddesden Park Cafe

We just had drinks and a snack for our 4 and 7 yr old grandchildren. Caramel latte was really good as was my decaffeinated tea. It might be helpful to have a few more child friendly snacks where they are easy to see. Otherwise it was a really good experience. We were sat on benches outside of the cafe area and they even brought our drinks to us out there. Staff very friendly. Highly recommend.

Delicious! Andy and Dawn are lovely, and the food even more so. What a gem of a place overlooking the park. I had the bangers and mustard mash with onion gravy. OMG! Amazing.

Very friendly peeps providing lovely food. I had the chicken curry today and my daughter had the burger. Both delicious. Service was good and with a smile. Happy to help get wheelchairs in and out, they are working with a tight space but have it laid out fairly and its clean, tidy and simple. I know they plan on getting seating for outside too and they have put out water for doggies. There is a serving hatch for takeaway items so even if you cant get in you can still get a good meal. Worth a visit even just for a coffee.

The rebirth this cafe and the park have been crying out for for years. It's so nice to have it run by people who know what they're doing and it's already a big part of the community and an asset to it. The food and drink are great and so are the prices. The vibe is friendly and welcoming, it's always busy, and a treat to visit for anyone.

Lovely to see the café open and the service back in use for all. Had a cappuccino and cake both were delicious. The young lady who served me was polite and noticed she went over to help other less mobile customers. Really friendly service and good value for money The house specials really are just that! Special lasagne curries wraps and more. This is a little gem of a cafe let's hope it gets the support to stay open long term

EDIT September 2025 Please note that the review below relates to the old management. As far as I'm aware the new team that took over this year don't have the same GF options so don't rely on my past comments! I love this place! Delicious food, great coffee, lovely decor. The owners are incredibly kind and hard-working, they make people feel so welcome. They are also incredibly well informed about dietary needs and cross contamination. It can sometimes be busy, especially on a weekend when the footie is on, but honestly I think that just goes to show how good the grub is. Toilets are next door, there is an accessible toilet available (with radar key access). Also super dog friendly, which is great for pooch-watching!

Lovely little friendly cafe, I went on my mobility scooter and they brought my coffee and Lovely home made biscuit out to me. The coffee was perfect and their biscuits and treats are top notch.
